About this Cemetery

This cemetery, established in September 1895, is the newest and the northern-most of 3 adjoining cemeteries located on Quivera in Shawnee, KS. The older Shawnee Cemetery is to the immediate south of Pleasant View. The cemetery was well platted, and was managed by a private family Cemetery Association for many years. The cemetery is now under the care of the City of Shawnee.
